Ho. Ly. Shit.

Just watched the newest "official" trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

I had my doubts about it merely because its a continuation of FFVII rather than a movie-remake of it (which I've always thought would be awesome, but would need to be about 6-9 hours long.....and thats still cutting out all of the gold chocobo quest.) But anyway...the visuals are absolutely stunning and seamless. All of the old characters come back in during an aerial fight with a Weapon. Not sure which weapon, certainly not ruby or emerald though...possibly one not appearing in FFXI. Tifa appears for just a few seconds, yet shows up Bruce Lee, Jet Li, and Tony Jaa in no time. (And to think I never used her in FFXI due to her massive suckage.) It all ends with one of those enticing scenes that makes you want to get your hopes up...as Cloud looks up to a massive oncoming landslide, Sephiroth flashes onto the screen, sword back and ready to strike.

Parts of me hope that they wouldn't DARE attempt to resurrect Seph, but this is Squeenix after all.
